I took this picture a few weeks back. I had just finished a major test, spent a very fun afternoon with a friend, and was taking the scenic route home (on purpose for once). When I came around the corner and saw the clouds, the road, the grass, it felt just too beautiful to miss.

It snowed this morning, but this week we have had some completely lovely weather. It was so nice, I took my lesson planning outside for an afternoon. Ah, sunshine!!

While I was lesson planning, Benjamin and John were working on a trench. Please note the Bosch box in the foreground that was blaring Footloose. Although you can't really tell in this picture, John was dancing in the trench. Priceless...

Trina and John, the amazing acrobats!

Trina and John, the exhausted acrobats...

This one is for Mom. It was so gorgeous, I had to put it on the windowsill so I could see it all the time. Thank you again for that AWESOME present!!

Two recent school projects which required supplies we did not have on hand meant extra crayons, construction paper, and more fun for the colorers. There are definite perks to having a sister studying elementary ed, especially one who has a thing for school/office supplies.

Becca decided to curl her hair. It took most of the afternoon and most unfortunately, I was on a walk when she finished and did not get any pictures of it! Just imagine the already beautiful Becca and her beautiful hair, and then, just make it curly. :D

So, the dryer motor started to die. For a while it worked great, all I had to do was spin the drum while I pushed the start button to make it go. Then, one day I pushed the button and spun the drum, and nothing happened. I called Dad in to look and he tried. Nothing happened. Benjamin immediately went to work, trying to find a new motor and within 48 hours, they not only had a new motor, but had it installed and the dryer working again. Without even spinning the drum!! Being someone with the mechanical abilities of a banana slug, this seems nothing short of a miracle. Once again, thank you guys!!

Dad read that green tea bags can help dark circles under eyes. Rosie was the experiment. This is the picture. So far, it seems to have worked. We will keep you posted.

The other day we had our first real rainstorm of the season. At first I told the kids to come inside, but we could not stand it and all went out and danced in the rain. It was lovely. When the rain stopped we decided to keep dancing, inside. That is what we were doing when our dear friend Katie called to let us know we were in a tornado warning, as in someone saw one near us. I guess it pays to keep listening to the radio while there is severe weather, instead of cranking up Footloose and dancing away. I can only imagine what the headlines would have been like if we had been sucked up. The good news, the tornado missed us and I don't think ended up doing any damage. Thank you Lord for your protection, and for times to dance, rain or no rain.
Have I mentioned that I love your family?! :D

Love your post...as usual. Mom is right; the amaryllis is lovely, but the green tea bags really can't be beat!
