Dad took this picture of John, rediscovering the sand pile. One advantage to having everything covered with snow for months is finding what was buried after it melts. Assuming whatever was buried is not susceptible to water damage that is.
Working in the sun, soaking up every precious ultra-violet ray...
Of course, spring means this too. Please pardon our floors for the next month or two. This stuff is magnetically attracted to children and the inside of houses...
Melting snow, shrinking woodpile, hints of green... its coming!
This was supposed to be a cool picture of the pussy willows framing the barns. Just in case you were wondering what it was.
Bare feet and flowers sprouting. Yes, this is my favorite time of year!
One of the best parts about the spring is the way the sky starts to look alive again after being a cold light blue all winter. It won't be long before all the brown in this picture is green and growing. Well minus the barn and the fence of course, seeing as we don't live in Seattle. :)
I stepped out the other night to get some laundry off the line and saw this. Some smart little bird took his girl on the ultimate date... Somewhere quiet with an awesome view!
I'm sitting outside doing school right now (can't you tell?), and have been for the past couple hours it's so beautiful!! (So are outdoor outlets, kinda. :D)
ReplyDeleteRemind me that I never want to have a romantic date on the windmill tower............
ReplyDeleteThe last picture is my favorite! Not that I would want to go to the top of the windmill for a date, but I like the concept. :)
