Nickersons!!

Lindy and Joe came to visit the early part of this week. What fun!! The kids had a blast and got their school work done in record time all three mornings.



Joe and Lindy are honorary adopted Hippses. In fact, we gave them their own last name, Nickersnipps...

With the arrival of warmer weather the outside projects have all started back up with gusto. The mud makes everything all that more interesting. Ever pushed a full wheelbarrow through 6 inches of warm mud? Talk about drifting...


Joe and Lindy were on spring break, so they helped the other kids with their school. I know Rosie greatly appreciated having someone to do all her school with, thank you Lindy!


John showing Joe that he knows all his letters. Joe recalled how he had held John when he was just a baby. They grow up fast!



Timothy and Joe made these aircraft from scraps out in the shop. They are ingenious! Yes, that is exactly how they asked to be described. You can't see it in this picture but the helicopter was even outfitted with artillery! Pretty cool, boys.
