The delivery guys were kind enough to bring it all the way into the laundry room (no small feat, considering the fact that they had to climb over the bathtub in the old bathroom). After that, we were on our own.

No problem! Like pros the kids not only hauled the old one out, they even got it down the stairs into the basement! It is not entirely dead, and we hope to use it with the milk sink once it is installed in the basement. Sorry about the poor quality of this picture. It is hard to get good pictures of people who are moving with a washing machine in your direction...

Benjamin and Timothy figured all this out in no time. I guess it is not as hard as it looks...

Now for the fun part, how on earth do we run this thing? I am still in awe of how smart it is and all the stuff it can do! So many options and it even sings a little song when it is done!

The coolest thing about the new washer has to be its clear plastic front. Now we can see the clothes being washed, rinsed and spun! I remember watching the laundry in the old top loader we had growing up, but this is a whole different perspective. Very cool. Thank you, Grandpa, for making sure our washer would be taken care of!
Gotta love Grandpa!!! Who is paying for the extended warranty now????
