Footloose

Last night during clean up the kids turned on their motivation music, the soundtrack to Footloose (somewhat censored). Once the dishes were done, in near record time, they broke into dancing.


I still have not figured out how to get good action pictures that are not blurry with my camera, but here are a few of the better ones.

Trina and Benjamin started doing the pretzel and a few other swing dance moves. They were pretty good!

So the kids got rather expressive...

This move looks really cool in action, not at all as odd as it looks frozen.

They just kept getting better and better. And more and more dangerous. Pretty soon they were the only ones in the kitchen. :D

One of my favorite "fortunes" from a Dove chocolate says, "Dance like no one is watching." Maybe they need to rephrase it to, "Dance like your big sister is not going to take a picture of you and put it on her blog where the world can see it." Either way, I think they nailed it!
