It has been really cold and snowy the last few weeks. Yet, even in the throes of winter, new life is popping up and reminding me that spring is just around the corner.
The first sign of spring. This picture is for Mom, I knew they were just dormant!!! :D:D
With the cold weather we have made lots of progress in school. Rosie decided to make school more festive with her brilliant hat. She has been amusing all of us with her "Princess subtraction". I hear her working on her paper saying, "So, I am being chased by 7 dragons. My knights in shining armor kill 2 of them. How many are chasing me now??"
Everyone wanted to be documented working hard on school. This is proof that Becca is not only studious, but also cheerful during school.
Timothy ordered a model airplane kit on Sunday. After three whole days of agonizing waiting, it arrived yesterday. He spent the rest of the afternoon pouring over the directions and deciding how much it would be able to haul. There will be more pictures once it starts to take shape, but I had to share his excitement with you. Just think, when I was a kid we had to wait 68 weeks for stuff to come...

Okay the Princess Subtraction is seriously awesome!! Why "knights" though? How many does the think she has and I hope she knows to share some with us! ;-)
ReplyDelete68 weeks... oh ya! ;-) Totally made me laugh my head off!
