Texas!!!!!

By Becca
Starting March 27 I spent eight weeks in the beautiful state of Texas. A week before I came Mark and Hillary welcomed a little baby girl into the world. I thought that this trip would be all about hold my beautiful baby niece but there was a something that happened while I was down there that was not called for, and that was the tornado that went through the Hutchins ranch. After the tornado went through I spent pretty much four out of seven days a week at the Hutchins working. Which I did not mind at all. :)
There was not a lot of stuff for me to do at Mark and Hillary's house in town, but when ever I went over to the Hutchins there was always something for me to do. I was there two weeks before the tornado went through so some of these pictures are for before the tornado(or as one of the Hutchins grand kids said Tomato. "That bad tomato! I'm gonna get that tomato!")

Little Baby Katie

It rained quite a few times when I was down there. When we went to Six Flags at the end of my trip it poured rain on us. We had a lot of fun running around in it. :)

About a week before the tornado we had a cook out at the Hutchins house.

Here Letitia and Kyle (one of the many grand kids) watch the fire

I built very strong bonds with lots of wonderful people while I was down there. These two special girls are Kyle's sisters. Natalie and Alaina or Laina

Laina!!!

I also go to meet all of the Babb family. I knew the oldest boy, Kasey but I got to meet the rest.
Lydia, Katherine, and I. Really love those girls! :)

Me and Katherine, my Texas big sister

Natalie

Ruthie!!!!

At the very beginning of my trip Kasey got a surgery on his shoulder. He was in a sling until two days before I left. Even though he had only one arm he worked as hard as everybody else. :)

David

Mr. Hutchins and baby Katie

David was quite the artist. He built this fork statue but then we need the forks. :)

Abigail, Letitia and Lydia

Caleb!!!
Caleb filled in for Ben and Timothy because they weren't there for me. So he is my Texas brother

This is me and Baby Emma Elizabeth. Emma is Samuel and Esther's baby girlie. Samuel's family and Esther's family have both been long time friends of the Hutchins. Samuel was in Mark and Hillary's wedding and Samuel and Hannah's wedding.

Katie!!!

About half the way through my stay the bluebonnets (the Texas state flower) started to bloom. So me and Hillary took the little beauty out for pictures in them.

Me and Katie spent a lot of time together. Hillary would need a nap but Katie would not be ready to sleep so I would take Katie and a pappy and we would hang out for like two to three hours. :)

Sweet Girlie

I also had to do school. On of the days Hillary gave me a chocolate bar to enjoy with school.

Little Katie fell asleep on Auntie's bed

Right after the tornado went through the Gradys, Sarah and her girls came down.

Melly-Boo

Caroline and Melanie were overjoyed to meet their double cousin Katie

The night that the tornado went though Mom flew in to meet baby Katie.

Ben and Leah came down right after the Tornado to help for a few days. It was nice to see some of my amazing siblings

I made this for little miss Katie out of rods and balls.
K.H stands for Katie Hutchins. :)

Little tongue

The Hutchins have a pound in their pasture and when the tornado went through a lot of sheet metal flew into it. So they drained the pound and under it the ground was like the consistency of chocolate pudding. It took all day but they got it all out, and the crew (left to right: Kasey, Daniel, Benjamin, David, Caleb, Katherine, and Abigail) came up looking like this. They were very tired and very hungry. So me and Jared went to town to get them some ice cream. As a thank you for all their hard work :)

Katie and Emma

Katie don't hit your best friend. :)

Ruthie and Katie

As I said David was quite the artist. He made this swan out of an apple

Leah!!
Leah spent six of my eight weeks helping the Hutchins and learning about farmers market.
When we both got back it was hard for us to leave each other because we were each other's last little bit of Texas.

I really love these two girls

Abigail!!!!

Abigail was probably the closest bond I built while I was in Texas. Me and Abigail would do a lot, I mean a lot together and we got along very well.
I love you bunches Abigail!

The last day I was there we went to a goodbye party for Faith and Esther Schatte .

There was soccer....

Lots of cute little children....

Thank you to everyone who put something into making my stay so awesome.
Thank you God for letting me have eight weeks with some of the best people in the world.
To everyone down there, I am coming back because eight weeks was not enough for me.

For He is good, His love endures forever!"
