Lately...

Lately... I haven't been blogging, but that doesn't mean we have not been doing anything interesting. 

The kitchen has been looking like this almost every day...

God has blessed us with cucumbers galore...

And I have been making pickles! This is roughly a third of what I have made so far. :-)

If it isn't pickles, it has been hay. Baling, stacking, loading, and selling... these pictures are from when we baled alfalfa hay a few weeks ago.

Christopher came over to help out and he and Benjamin bucked those 70-80lb bales like they weighed nothing! Without complaint I might add.

Since I am not amazingly strong and riding the rack had me worn out before we even reached 100 bales, I transferred full and empty racks with the 70. That was a good deal of fun too... :-) My view looked something like this... :-)

A few other interesting things that we have been doing include:
Finding some adorable baby killdeers.

Doing chores, (and playing with the kitten)

Some flowers I picked off the side of the road. I. Love. Flowers. Just sayin' :-)
